If you notice furniture scratches on your wood floor, follow the instructions below.
On lacquered floors
- Vacuum the floor.
- Spray and clean with the Wood Floor Cleaner and a Microfiber Cleaning Pad, or the Wood Floor Spray Mop. Then apply Wood Floor Polish according to the instructions. Wood Floor Polish repairs smaller micro scratches. If you think the scratches are too deep, we recommend contacting a Bona Certified Craftsman for further advice and assistance.
On oiled floors
- Vacuum the floor.
- Spray and clean the area with the Cleaner for Oiled Floors and a Microfiber Cleaning Pad. Allow to dry properly.
- Apply Oil Refresher according to the instructions, using a Microfiber Applicator Pad.
- If scratches are still visible, sand the area with a very fine sandpaper. Then add oil, and make sure you use the same one as previously used. If you’re not sure and need more help, we recommend contacting a Bona Certified Craftsman.
Tip
- Put felt pads on tables and chairs.
- Don't drag furniture on the wood floor.
- Avoid walking on the floor with high heels.
