Nestled in the breathtaking mountains of Obertauern, the Hotel Bernhof immediately captures attention with its inviting architecture. Marrying traditional alpine charm with contemporary design, the hotel features a stunning exterior clad in warm wood paneling and elegant stone accents that seamlessly integrate into the surrounding landscape. As a popular destination, the hotel’s 30 guest rooms inevitably experienced wear and tear, particularly on the oak wooden floors, prompting a comprehensive refurbishment.

For the renovation, Bona Traffic GO was selected to restore the beauty and functionality of the heavily used strip parquet floors. Known for its superior durability and time-saving application, Bona Traffic GO became the ideal choice for the project. This revolutionary wood 2 component floor lacquer has a built-in hardener that activates as soon as the product is applied, eliminating the need for manual hardener mixing. Its innovative design ensures durability for high-traffic areas while offering the user-friendly application of a one-component product.

The contractors appreciated the simplicity and efficiency of Bona Traffic GO. Time-consuming measuring and mixing were completely avoided, granting greater flexibility and allowing the focus to remain on delivering outstanding results. Furthermore, the clear, non-yellowing finish left the oak floors with a fresh and contemporary appearance that harmonized beautifully with the hotel’s aesthetic. With unlimited pot life, the product also minimized waste, adding an environmentally conscious benefit to the process.

The revitalized guest rooms at Hotel Bernhof were warmly received, with the elegant oak floors now exuding both resilience and timeless beauty. By choosing Bona Traffic GO, Hotel Bernhof not only reinforced its reputation for quality and attention to detail but also showcased its commitment to offering guests comfort and sophistication in every aspect of their stay.
