A restored surface can be achieved in a matter of hours without the downtime, cost or inconvenience of a full renovation. Recoating involves superficial sanding with Bona FlexiSand 1.9 and Bona Diamond Abrasives, for a perfectly smooth surface, followed by the application of Bona Traffic HD or Bona Pure, for outstanding durability.
Wood

With the Bona Commercial System, you can transform existing resilient floors in linoleum, PVC, Vinyl (LVT), rubber and PU. This method restores the resilient surface to its original state, maintaining the existing colour of the floor.
Critical areas for unprotected floors
Every day, a significant amount of dirt and microorganisms accumulate in the scratches and joints of flooring surfaces. Minimising these areas makes surfaces easier to clean, and reduces the build-up of dirt and contamination. Bona Deep Clean Treatment, complemented with a layer of Bona Pure, is an efficient solution for both worn and new resilient surfaces. Bona Pure provides long-term surface protection for heavy-traffic floors.
Resilient coating
Bona Pure is a hard-wearing 2K waterborne PUR coating for the treatment of resilient floors. It's ideal for recoating linoleum, PVC, vinyl, rubber, and PU floors.
It was specially developed to meet all TRBA 250 requirements (45 μm layer thickness per order). Slip-resistance (in accordance with DIN 51130 (R9)) can easily be achieved with Bona Pure. And sealing with it ensures that dirt and microorganisms don't stick to - or penetrate - the floor covering.
Wood coating
Bona Traffic HD is the a 2K waterborne lacquer for wood floors exposed to high traffic and extreme wear, and ideal for recoating of wood floors.
This is simply the world’s toughest lacquer. It allows for full traffic to be resumed just 12 hours after application, and was developed for application on large surfaces. Used in hotels, restaurants and airports worldwide, where short downtime is essential, it's a wood floor lacquer perfected.
Sanding
Bona Diamond Abrasives ensure smoothness and speed, while attaining outstanding results. They're the ideal abrasives for recoating, by far.
The hardness of the diamonds ensures the highest standard of treatment before applying the final coat. Unmatched in thoroughness, they also last an average of 12 times longer than screens and other intercoat abrasive products.
