Pregătire
The substrate must be even, dry, free of grease, clean, free of cracks, and have adequate compressive and tensile strength. The surface should be absorbent. Where applicable, it is necessary to meet the requirements of local standards or codes of practice. In Germany: DIN 18356; Austria: ÖN B2218.
The minimum air temperature should be 18°C, and the minimum floor temperature should be 15°C (with underfloor heating, a maximum of 20°C)
Suitable sub-floors:
- Cementitious screed (CT)
- Standard: EN 13813
- Maximum moisture content without underfloor heating: 2.0 CM%
- Maximum moisture content with underfloor heating: 1.8 CM%
Pregătire (continuare)
- Calcium sulphate screed (CA)
- Standard: EN 13813
- Max. moisture content without underfloor heating: 0.5 CM%
- Max. moisture content with underfloor heating: 0.3 CM%
- Levelling compound, min. 2 mm thick. Plasticizer-resistant. Chipboard, OSB board. Other dry and sound subfloors

Aplicare
Recommended application:
- 2-layer prefabricated parquet: 1000 g/m2 TKB B10
- 3-layer prefabricated parquet: 1250 g/m2 TKB B13
- Solid boards (max. width 180 mm): 1500 g/m2 TKB B16
Typical recommendations for wood moisture for central Europe:
- Prefabricated parquet: 8% (+/- 2%)
- Solid parquet: 9% (+/- 2%)
Aplicare (continuare)
Apply adhesive using a toothed spatula (see recommended application). Place the parquet in the adhesive bed within the open time of 40 min. and tap it down thoroughly (ideally, place weight on the parquet for a few hours). In some cases, excess adhesive is forced up into the joints. Remove this carefully using Bona Cleaning Wipes. Clean your hands and tools using Bona Cleaning Wipes. Cured adhesive can only be removed mechanically. The temperature must not fall below +5 °C or exceed +25 °C during storage and transport. Store in a cool, dry and well ventilated place. Waste and empty containers should be disposed of as specified in local regulations.
Further treatment of the parquet surface after 2 to 4 days depending on the moisture content of the materials. Follow the processing instructions provided by the parquet manufacturer.
