Addition to Bona Nordic Tone or Bona Rich Tone: 1. Shake the pigment bottle and add to Bona Nordic or Rich Tone, max 5%. 2. Shake the mixture vigorously. Note: After colouring, the surface should be sealed with an oil or hardwax oil. Follow the instructions for Bona Nordic Tone or Bona Rich Tone for application. Addition to Bona waterborne primers & lacquers. 1. Shake the pigment bottle and add the desired amount to the primer/lacquer. For a light tint, the dose is typically between 0,05% - 0,2%. Never exceed more than 5% pigment paste to the primer/lacquer. If mixing several cans, mix the entire quantity in one large container. 2. Shake the mixture vigorously. Applying tinted primer or lacquer is challenging. Working with low concentrations of pigment and instead building the desired colour intensity with multiple coats is advantageous in terms of colour eveness compared to trying to achieve a strong colour in a single application. Application marks or uneven colouration or gloss levels due to uneven application or inappropriate dosing are not accepted as a product claim. Uneven gloss levels may be rectified by the application of a further coat of lacquer with no mix colour added. Addition to Bona Mix&Fill Plus 1. Mix Bona Mix&Fill Plus with wood dust per separate instruction. 2. Slowly and carefully add Mix Colour until a desired colouration is achieved. Note that the colour of the filler will not be the same when the filler has dried. Apply a thin coat of filler on a piece of cardboard or similar and evaluate the colour when dry prior to use on the floor.
