How effective is the Bona Spray Mop Air for Wood Floors at removing dirt?

Bona Wood Floor Cleaner and the Bona Microfiber Cleaning Pad are designed to work together for effective everyday cleaning. For best results, rinse or change the pad as it becomes soiled, especially when cleaning larger areas.

How do I use the Bona Spray Mop Air for Wood Floors?

Can I refill the bottle?

Yes. The bottle is refillable and can be refilled with compatible Bona Floor Cleaner when needed.

What does “bio-based” mean?

Bio-based refers to carbon derived from renewable biological sources rather than fossil-based sources. Bona Wood Floor Cleaner contains more than 90% bio-based carbon, measured according to ASTM D6866. The claim applies specifically to Bona Wood Floor Cleaner, not to the complete Spray Mop Air.

Can I use Bona Wood Floor Cleaner in a home with pets?

Can I use any cleaning pad with the mop?

The Bona Spray Mop Air is designed for use with compatible Bona microfibre pads with velcro attachment. For wet cleaning, we recommend the Bona Microfiber Cleaning Pad, featuring a dual-zone design for effective dirt removal. It is made from 90% recycled material and is washable and reusable up to 500 times.

How do I wash and care for the Microfiber Cleaning Pad?

The Microfiber Cleaning Pad is designed to be washed and reused. Follow the care instructions supplied with the pad and wash at 60°C without fabric softener.

How should I store the Bona Spray Mop Air for Wood Floors?

Remove any wet cleaning pad from the mop and always store the Bona Spray Mop Air in an upright position. The handle can be detached to save space, or you can use the practical hanging hook.

My Bona Spray Mop Air has stopped spraying. What should I do?

Remove the cleaner bottle and check that the cap is properly tightened and the nozzle is free from debris. Reinsert the bottle firmly until it clicks into place and try spraying again. If the nozzle appears blocked, gently clean it with a soft brush and lukewarm water, then operate the spray trigger several times to check whether the blockage has cleared.
