Alice Collyer (Instagram) was determined to rejuvenate her home's flooring, a 6mm oak engineered floor that hadn’t held up to her busy household. It looked unsightly, lacked slip resistance and showed signs of premature wear. Wanting both durability and a solution that would preserve the existing floor while suiting her Scandinavian-inspired décor, Alice searched for the perfect fix.

Through social media, she discovered Bona and connected with Andrew Biss of Strippers Flooring Ltd, a Bona Certified Craftsman renowned for their expertise. Andrew understood her concerns and proposed a plan using low VOC products and dust-free sanding. After a thorough consultation and testing of color samples on the sanded floor, Alice chose Bona Craft Oil in Misty, sealed with two layers of Bona Traffic HD Extra Matt - resulting in a perfect balance of style and functionality. The Misty Craft Oil 2K subtly enhanced the wood grain, creating a fresh, light look.

The five-day transformation included the use of Bona’s dust-free sanding techniques, to keep disruption minimal. Delighted with the results, Alice shared: "We couldn't be happier with how the floor looks and feels now; it's completely transformed the house. The wood, once a source of frustration, has been brought back to life, looking even better than when first installed." Thanks to Strippers Flooring's dedication and the high-quality Bona products, Alice's flooring now stands as a testament to enduring elegance and longevity.
