ROUND 1 Corporation is a bowling and amusement company headquartered in Osaka, Japan.  The company operates approximately 100 community-based indoor leisure complaexes throughout Japan, mainly offering bowling, amusement, karaoke, and Spocha (a facility that allows customers to freely play sports and other amusement activities for a certain amount of time). The floors of these stores were maintained by their own staff with wax cleaning, once or twice a month. However, even with frequent waxing, some of the PVC floors were worn and had to be replaced. They felt wax cleaning was not enough to protect the PVC floors and they also wanted to do something good for the environment. This led to the decision to switch to and use the highly durable Bona Resilient Soution. They also wanted to reduce its environmental impact by renovating PVC floors, rather than replacing floors and to reduce polluted water which is generated by wax removal.
