Set in the beautiful lakeside town of Vinkeveen, The Netherlands, this classically designed home boasts breathtaking views over tranquil waters. Inside, a 200 m² European oak floor laid in a traditional herringbone pattern, adds timeless elegance. However, years of wear had taken their toll. Restoration was essential to bring back the floor's original charm and to add contemporary durability.

To revive and protect the flooring, the homeowners chose Bona Craft Oil 2K Snow and Bona Traffic HD Raw: premium products known for enhancing the wood’s natural beauty while providing durable, long-lasting protection. The Bona Craft Oil 2K Snow enriched the oak’s warm tones, giving it a luminous finish - highlighting the herringbone layout. Bona Traffic HD Raw added a strong, natural looking layer, preserving the wood's original beauty.

The result perfectly blends classic style with modern durability, complementing the home's traditional architecture. Now, this beautifully restored flooring enhances the home’s timeless charm while offering a warm and inviting atmosphere, reflecting the beauty of the lakeside location.
