In the Alpine town of Seefeld, Austria, this private chalet offers stunning mountain views and a cozy, luxurious atmosphere. Its oak wide-plank floor, spanning 200 m², was recently restored to bring out its warmth and beauty.

The floor was first sanded with the Bona FlexiSand and abrasives to create a smooth surface. Next, light brushing with Bona Fiber Pads highlighted the natural grain of the wood. After water-popping, the floor was treated with Bona 2K Oil Invisible to achieve a natural, almost untreated look. Finally, two coats of Bona Hard Wax Oil Extra Matt were applied, giving the floor long-lasting protection and an ultra-matte finish.

The result is a floor that feels warm and elegant, perfectly complementing the scenery.
