White oiled pine floor
Imagine putting your feet down every morning on a smooth white oiled pine floor. A white oiled pine floor brings a calm feeling to your bedroom. The white pigmented oil can also be made even whiter with an effect-enhancing pre-treatment product.
Everyone knows that a white oiled pine floor is all about feeling. An appearance the Nordic countries take for granted and have used in their homes for centuries to make the dark winter months a bit brighter.
If we look beyond appearance and feeling, oil (regardless of color) brings great benefits to the floor owner. A white-oiled pine floor can be spot-repaired if minor damages occur, and the floor can be maintained with new white-pigmented oil without the need for sanding down and renovating the floor from scratch again. Regular cleaning, cleaning products designed for oiled wood floors, and regular maintenance will keep your white oiled pine floor beautiful for many years.

White waxed oak parquet
Hard wax oil can also be used to get a light, white waxed surface on your wooden floor. A white waxed oak parquet can be created in different ways; either with a white pigmented hard wax oil or by first treating the floor with white oil and then with neutral hard wax oil which gives the silky smooth, protective surface. How bright you want the floor can also be controlled by waxing it multiple times, treating the floor with an effect-enhancing pre-treatment product, or adding more white pigments to the hard wax oil.
If we compare white pigmented oil and white wax on oak parquet, white wax provides better protection and a more durable surface than white oil, but at the same time, white wax generally has a poorer environmental profile than white oil.
In a post from 2017, Mia Ljungberg shows the beautiful renovation of her parents' floor. The yellowed oak parquet was sanded and re-treated with white hard wax oil.
