Bona Floor Polish
Protection for every floor.
Bona Floor Polish is not a floor cleaner. Our protective formulas renew hardwood and stone, tile, laminate, vinyl and LVT/LVP floors by filling in microsratches and scuffs, shielding against future wear and traffic, and adding a durable shine for beautiful, transformed floors, every time. For extra protection, the antimicrobial additive works to inhibit the growth of bacteria, mold and mildew while the coating is on the floor. Use every 2-4 months, depending on traffic, to keep floors looking like new.

Tips & Tricks

Bona recommends using Polish every 2-4 months or longer depending on how much traffic your floor gets. Bona does not recommend using Polish on a newly finished or newly installed floor.

Be sure to remove all furniture and other materials from the floor surface before beginning your Polish application. Then measure your floor to calculate the square footage of the room (LxW). Bona Polishes cover 300-550 sq. ft. Test a small area before applying to the entire floor.

Use a designated Bona Microfiber Cleaning Pad for Polish application that is separate from what you use to clean your floors.

1 to 2 hours after the application, you may walk on the floor with socked feet. 24 hours after the application, the product is fully cured, and you can replace furniture and allow heavy foot or pet traffic.
See what our customers are saying

''When we moved into our home we noticed the flooring was dull, almost as if the varnish had worn away. We had had the exact flooring in our previous home and it never looked this bad. I recently cleaned the entire floor and out of desperation decided to order this product to try and restore its' beauty. I was more than pleasantly surprised. I've been downright elated since applying 2 coats of this polish. It was a remarkable improvement! In the photo the foreground is not yet polished, toward the back the floor had one coat of polish applied. The difference was more stunning in person.''

''I have used Bona Polish on my hardwood floors for over 8 years now. The product is absolutely amazing. Keeps my hardwood floors looking like new! Beautiful shine. Covers scratches well and protect the wood from spills.''

''I accidentally purchased this while looking for a BONA cleaner refill. But, after steaming/cleaning with the BONA hardwood floor cleaner, I applied the BONA polish. Dry time is important (at least 1 hr). 24 hours later, I'm blown away at how great our hand-scraped floors look. Even with the deep grain and distress, they look better than when first installed!''
