The ability to see how the sanding is progressing will help expedite the process and, in the end, generate greater results. We have now added a new, even more intense surround LED light bar to the upgraded Bona FlexiSand 1.9. The clear, cold light leaves no shadow from the machine dispersing light evenly around for perfect floor visibility.

Mounting the new LED light bar on top of any Bona FlexiSand is easy and requires just one screw. A rubber gasket ensures a tight seal with the machine chassis, reducing vibrations that impact the light. It is also possible to use the light without attaching it to the machine for general lighting.

Based on feedback from contractors across the world, we have redesigned our multimeter to match your needs. To avoid overloading the machine or having a shortage of voltage to run it, control over the incoming power is important. The new multimeter on Bona FlexiSand 1.9 allows you to see, before you start the machine, how much voltage the power outlet gives the connected machine.
Secure usage
To secure optimal running conditions, the new multimeter displays the voltage coming out of the power supply as well as the main frequency in Hz and the running hours of the machine. The multimeter has everything to secure optimal conditions before running Bona FlexiSand 1.9.
Improved readability
With a blue back-lit screen, the new version improves readability from a distance. As soon as the machine connects to the wall power supply, the display is visible, and it is easy to view it when standing at the handle.

Safe space - No pressure
When sanding with the Bona FlexiSand, you tilt the machine several times. Tilting happens when you change the abrasives or switch from one drive plate, e.g., a Bona PowerDrive, to another, such as a Bona Pad Drive. Included in the latest features of the Bona FlexiSand 1.9 is a kickstand. The kickstand allows you to tilt the machine without contacting the floor with the sanding plates when changing accessories and abrasives, protecting the floor from unwanted scratches.
No pressure on plates

The new kickstand with wheels protects both the floor surface and the Bona FlexiSand by removing the repeating pressure on the sanding discs. When tilted, it allows for handling the machine safely and easily during abrasive and sanding plate changes.

Depending on the sanding operation, different loads on the Bona FlexiSand are desirable. In general, the lighter the machine is, the easier it is to run. In practice, this calls for flexibility in adding extra weights to accommodate the varying needs of different sanding operations. For that reason, we now introduce a magnetic click-on connection for an easy switch of the load depending on the sanding situation. The magnetic click-on connection also comes with a new 11 kg extra weight designed to optimise performance.
