Many years ago, we at Bona developed our dust containment system removing up to 99,996% of the dust in the air during sanding, leaving an air quality that’s better and cleaner than before. The Bona DCS captures the dust generated on the spot and provides a completely dust-free environment thanks to state-of-the-art dust separation technique.

Wood sanding generates harmful dust to our lungs that are not designed to handle such fine dust, let alone a large amount of it. Bona DCS provides a completely dust-free environment and prevents any dust to escape into the surroundings. This ensures an optimal indoor air quality thanks to state-of-theart dust separation technique. The Bona DCS range can be used in all sanding situations and with all Bona sanding machines, Keeping the air clean while sanding is the key to a healthy work environment. L Class
L Dust Class includes simple house dust, soil, general construction dust/waste, softwoods, and solid surface material. The workplace exposure limit is >1 mg/m3, which means you need a dust extractor that catches 99% of the dust.
M Class
Dust in the M Class include hardwoods, board material, repair compound, filler and clear coats, concrete dust, sand, and paints. The workplace exposure limit is ≥ 0.1 mg/m³. This means you need a dust extractor that catches 99.9% of the dust.
H Class
H Dust Class is high toxicity dust containing pathogenic or carcinogenic particles, as well as asbestos, mould spores, mineral fibres, and artificial mineral fibres, like glass wool. The workplace exposure limit is < 0.1 mg/m³ needing a dust extractor that catches 99.995% of the dust.
