Senior Center Agevita

St. Georgen an der Gusen, Austria

Overview

The Senior Center Agevita is located in the heart of St. Georgen an der Gusen and was originally opened in June 1993 after extensive rejuvenation and new construction of the property. The retirement home houses up to 83 people who receive assisted living care around the clock. In addition to individual rooms for residents, each floor includes a common area or lounge where residents meet for coffee, craft time or playing games. Floors in these lounges along with the corridors had become scratched and worn due to walkers, wheelchairs and heavy traffic over the years.

In total, 330 m2 of linoleum flooring was renewed thanks to the Bona Resilient Solution. The ability to avoid ripping out and installing new floors, allowed to remain open as to not displace any of the residents who are in need of care. The company FBS FuBbodenservice Jirka e.U. from Wolfern bei Steyr was commissioned to renew the floors thus saving Senior Center Agevita time and money, resulting in beautiful, renewed floors.
