Refinishing

The Bona Refinish Treatment is the option to go with when a wood floor is severely damaged or yellowed, or your customer simply wants to change the look of their floor.

Using our comprehensive sanding equipment, abrasives, and dust containment systems, the floor is sanded down to bare wood and then finished with the look and protection it needs and deserves. It's like providing a whole new floor with endless possibilities. The floor is ready for use again within 2-4 days.

The Process

The Refinish Treatment provides the opportunity to create a whole new floor with endless design possibilities. Be sure to utilize the Bona Dust Containment System® for a dustless experience.

The Bona Power Drive is removing finish from a wood floor within an inch of the wall, which will reduce edge sanding time.

Step 2 - Apply Sealer, Stain, or Craft Oil

Apply either Bona Sealer, Bona DriFast® Stain, or Bona Craft Oil® 2K to achieve the desired look.

Pro Tip: Bona DriFast Stain can be used as a seal-coat and to give color! Plus you can buff if on to extend its coverage and save your knees!

Step 3 - Finish Application

Apply a coat or two of Bona Traffic HD® for protection and beauty.

*If Bona Craft Oil 2K® was applied, a topcoat of Bona Traffic HD is not necessary but can be applied over the top if desired.
