Oil-modified Finishes

Oil-based finishes provide superior protection for wood floors while accentuating the wood’s natural look. Some oil-based finishes don’t dry as fast as a waterborne polyurethane finish, but Bona’s oil-modified finishes come from pine oil, shortening the drying time. Waterborne finishes are clear, good for light, bright colors. Oil-based finishes darken over time, giving floors a warm, rich patina.

Woodline Polyurethane

Woodline Poly is a premium, oil-modified wood floor finish formulated for interior use on residential and commercial wood floors. Provides a tough protective coat and slight amber color to enhance the natural tone of the wood.

Oil-modified Sealer

Penetrating Oil

Typical oil finishes for wood floors lay on top of the wood, protecting it on the wood’s surface. Penetrating oils, however, are oil finishes that are absorbed into the wood and act as a wood hardener, providing protection from the inside out.
