Your speed cleaning guide
- While you don’t absolutely need music to get the job done, having a playlist of your favorite upbeat tunes to listen to while you clean can be a great motivator. Music both inspires and helps you set your pace. If you don’t have a playlist ready, then just choose one of your favorite musicians or bands from a music app that you enjoy.
(TIME: 1 minute or less) - Clear away anything that can be tossed from tables or counters, and put away anything that is sitting out but has a designated place, then spray and wipe down counters or tables with your surface cleaner. (TIME: 5 minutes or less)
- Any dirty clothes lying about can be easily picked up and put in the hamper. Any items that can be thrown away, simply toss into your trash bag.
(TIME: 1-2 minutes) - Stack any papers that need to be saved. If they can be quickly filed, then file them.
(TIME: 2-3 minutes) - Take out the trash.
(TIME: 2 minutes or less) - Vacuum or dust mop, then spray-mop if you have hardwood or hard-surface floors

A few quick-cleaning tips
