Bona AB and Kunzle &Tasin in strategic alliance

Bona AB, the experts in products for wooden floors and Kunzle & Tasin S.r.l. the market leader in production of sanding machines, have entered a strategic partnership.

- We will have the advantage of using the joint competences of both companies to develop machines that satisfy the specific needs and requirements of our customers as our companies have strengths that complement each other, say Kerstin Lindell, President and CEO at Bona and Alberto Biffignandi, President of Biffignandi S.p.A. (Italian company to which Kunzle & Tasin belongs):
• the market global leading position and presence in wood flooring sanding and finishing of Bona;
• the wide range of machines and flexible manufacturing organization of K&T;
• the long history and reputation (quality and reliability) of both companies.
The first step of this alliance is to offer to customers a broader product portfolio as Kunzle & Tasin will produce a combined range of Bona/K&T machines. Bona will sell the products through its global organization.
The new partnership also means that Bona will close its production facility in Sweden and transfer it to Kunzle & Tasin in Italy.
