Indoor Air Quality

Did you know that indoor air can be more polluted than outdoor air? And that you spend more time indoors than outdoors.

GREENGUARD certified products

GREENGUARD Certifications serves to reduce your exposure to chemicals and to improve your indoor quality. That’s why Bona´s products are GREENGUARD certified.

UL Environment’s GREENGUARD Certification strives to help reduce chemical exposure by connecting people to healthier products they can trust. The GREENGUARD standards are among the most rigorous product emissions standards in the world, and they are based on available standards and guidelines from national and international public health agencies. Read more about it here.

There is a lot you can do to make your indoor environment less polluted:

Keep your home ventilated. The more clean outdoor air you let in, the more pollutants it filters out.

Keep your home dry. Control relative humidity levels to less than 60 percent, using dehumidifiers if necessary. Clean humidifiers frequently.

Don’t smoke indoors. Obvious, but tobacco smoke contains high concentrations of thousands of pollutants.

Cut down on using harsh cleaners, solvent-based cleaners or cleaners with strong fragrances.

Leave your shoes by the door so you don’t drag in outdoor dust and dirt. Have a mat by the front door.
