All hardwood floors were maintained with an acrylic finish. The acrylic was applied weekly in the food court and stripped every 6 months. This process led to floor cupping from excessive moisture and wear through to bare wood. A complete resand and refinish of the entire mall was needed to correct these issues.

Utilizing the Bona Commercial Hardwood Floor Care System, FlatIron Crossing Mall was refinished with Bona Traffic, an unsurpassed waterborne urethane, and maintained with Bona Hardwood Floor Cleaner along with a nightly dust mopping.
