Bona Prime Trowel is a waterborne primer designed for application with trowel. The trowel technique is particularly suitable for water sensitive wood species and is a fast way to build a smooth finish. Due to the low water effect, normally no grain raise occurs making abrasion unnecessary. Bona Prime Trowel is also used in between coats of varnish to reduce scratches from an abrasion and to build a spotless high gloss surface.'
