An advanced and novel architectural creation, with a futuristic character
dominating the ceiling and walls. The floor, however, is based on more traditional
wooden lines, despite the curved beech parquet being especially manufactured
for the purpose.
The interior is characterized by an impression of airiness and space. The only
rustic aspect of the environment is the floor. The beautiful, curved beech boards
provide a secure foothold on each of the floors. The light-coloured beech also
creates a peaceful atmosphere amongst the profusion of details, open railings
and metal design work.
Sanding and finishing work was done by Libuda, a company in Cologne. It
was natural that the choice of surface finish for these novel surroundings fell on
Bona Mega - an environmentally friendly, water-borne surface finish especially
developed for floors where demands for endurance and beauty are paramount.
